After downloading the hum App and following a few simple steps, just clip the hum speaker to your visor and plug the OBD Reader into your dashboard. Then go for a drive to officially activate your system, and start enjoying more peace of mind for the road.

Enter your hum System ID, found on the side of the box. Then complete a few simple steps.

install the hum system

Charge the hum speaker and clip it to your visor. With your vehicle turned off, plug the OBD Reader into the OBD-II port.

IMPORTANT: Make sure your vehicle is OFF before installing your OBD reader.

TIP: The OBD-II port is usually located under the driver's side dash. For help locating your OBD-II port, visit www.hum.com/port. We recommend charging the hum speaker for 20 minutes.
